Okay, not to brag or anything, but I thought I was a good writer. I mean, writing papers weren’t all that bad, well, depends on the subject, but still. But then, writing papers in Chinese is actually more difficult than I thought. Maybe it’s cuz it’s harder for me to find the appropriate sentence structure and words to convey my message. But I should’ve known if I thought grammar in English was already tough, then Chinese is just plain hard.
If I were to choose which language is easier, it’s definitely English. Then again I grew up in Cali so that’s prolly a factor..but the weird thing is that I feel more comfortable speaking in Chinese, albeit I have some pronunciation issues/I get awkward with ppl..
Whatever. and not that this is anything new, but I suck at public speaking - I prefer one on one hangouts..HAHA. In my chinese class, we’re required to write a paper and then present it to the class every week, so it goes without saying I’m always just..blah on stage.
SO, totally reconsidering the law school path…or I can work on my public speaking skills…or rather, work on my social skills.
I still kinda like event planning…
Life. Why so confusing?
On another note, I’m wearing shorts today and not as many people looked at me weirdly….haha. Then again I should stop caring but I steer away from shorts since my legs are thin..lol.
Ok, I think I can rule out translation jobs….journalism…..
